Chardonnay - 2023
Mid-September, the grapes ripened slowly but surely. Half of the wine was made in tanks, half in 500-liter used French barrels – and then the two worlds met. The alcohol content was lower and the body more restrained than in 2021, but something was still familiar: that salty-mineral, slightly serious mood. Perhaps it really is the terroir. Better with food than conversation – but of course, we don't dictate. It goes well with both.
