General Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to asGTC) govern the rights and obligations of purchases made in thehofmanz.huonline store and contain the basic conditions governing the legal relationship between the Parties.
The scope of the GTC covers all electronic commercial services provided through the websitehttps://hoffmanns.hubyEx Voto Régészeti Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság(hereinafter:Service Provider,Operator) to consumers and non-consumers.
The Operator reserves the right to amend the GTC, of which it shall inform users via the website prior to the amendment coming into effect. The amended provisions shall apply to orders placed after publication.
By finalizing the order, the customer declares that they have read and understood the GTC and accept its contents as binding.

3. Subject matter of the contract
The subject of the contract is the sale of bottled wines offered on thehttps://hoffmanns.huonline store. The essential properties and characteristics of the products are contained in the descriptions on the product pages.
The Operator undertakes to deliver the ordered products to the buyer by the chosen delivery method in accordance with the provisions of the sales contract upon placing and confirming the order, and the buyer shall pay for the products by the chosen payment method.
The prices of products offered in the online store are given in Hungarian forints (HUF) and include value added tax (VAT). Prices do not include shipping costs, which are indicated separately during the ordering process.
4. The purchasing process
- Product selection:
The customer selects the product they wish to purchase in thehoffmanns.huonline store, then clicks on the "Add to cart" button to place it in their cart. - Viewing and modifying your shopping cart:
You can view, modify, or delete the contents of your shopping cart at any time before finalizing your order. - Cashier process:
- The customer provides the information necessary for delivery and invoicing (name, address, email address, telephone number).
- Select the shipping method:
- GLS courier service
- Personal pickup
- Select your payment method:
- Payment by credit card
- Cash payment (only for personal collection)
- Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy:
Acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy is a condition for placing an order. - Order submission and confirmation:
The customer submits their order by clicking on the "Order" button. The Operator confirms receipt of the order by sending an automatic email.
5. Payment terms
The following payment methods are available in thehoffmanns.huonline store:
- Payment by credit card:Payment is made online via a secure, encrypted channel. The Operator does not store credit card details.
- Cash payment:Only possible upon personal collection at the collection point.
The Operator reserves the right to request advance payment in certain cases (e.g., for custom orders or high-value orders).
6. Terms of delivery
- GLS courier service:
Delivery is available within Hungary. Delivery time is usually 1–3 business days from order confirmation. The courier service will notify the customer of the expected delivery time via SMS and email. - Personal collection:
Possible at a collection point designated by the Operator, subject to prior agreement.
Shipping fees:
The current shipping fees are listed on thehoffmanns.huwebsite under the "Shipping Information" menu item and are also visible during the ordering process.

7. Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period:
- In the case of a contract for the sale of goods, 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods.
- If multiple products are ordered at the same time and delivered separately, 14 days from the date of receipt of the last product.
For wine and food products:
The right of withdrawal can only be exercised in the case of unopened, undamaged bottles in their original packaging.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must notify the Operator of their intention to withdraw in a clear statement (e.g., by email or post).

Legal effects of withdrawal:
The Operator is obliged to refund the total amount paid by the buyer, including shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal, using the same payment method as the original payment.
8. Warranty for supplies, product warranty, guarantee
In the event of faulty performance, the buyer may exercise the following rights:
Warranty:
The buyer may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract if the defect is serious.
Product warranty:
The manufacturer or distributor is responsible for product defects. The buyer is obliged to report any defects in the product immediately after discovery, but no later than within two months.
Warranty:
Certain products may be covered by a warranty under law or contract, the duration of which is specified in the product data sheet.
9. Complaint handling

The Operator shall respond to complaints within 14 days of receiving them.
The buyer is also entitled to contact the consumer protection authority or an arbitration board. The contact details of the arbitration boards are available on thehoffmanns.huwebsite and on the NAIH website.
10. Other provisions
- Issues not regulated in these GTC shall be governed by the provisions of the Civil Code, Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce Services, and consumer protection legislation.
- By using thehoffmanns.huonline store, the customer declares that they are a legally competent, adult natural person or representative of a legal entity.
The Operator reserves the right to amend the GTC, which will be announced on the website.
